¡Hola!

I'm Señora Hamland and I teach Spanish for grades 7-12. This is my 15th year teaching and I'm excited to start a new adventure at Loyal! I studied abroad in college for a semester in Xalapa, Mexico and graduated from UW - La Crosse in 2007 with my Bachelor's in Spanish and Education.

I am from Medford and have 3 kids - Angus, Paxton, and Jada. My husband. Seth, is a dairy farmer. We live on a farm and love living in the peacefulness of the country.

I love fishing, reading, painting, music, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. I DJ weddings and dances on the side and love getting people dancing! I have also been to Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, and Puerto Rico and look forward to taking student groups on international trips in the future.
